Stouffville Line GO Expansion
- Agincourt GO Station
Agincourt GO Station
A new and improved Agincourt GO Station.
Major improvements are complete at Agincourt GO station, offering customers better station amenities and access to more frequent GO train service.
These improvements allow us to serve even more daily passengers as we introduce all-day, two-way GO train service over the next several years, all while providing a better experience for you. There are currently 35 daily trips on weekdays, and 30 trips every weekend day at Agincourt GO.
Project overview
Now that the project is complete, here's what Agincourt GO customers and community members can enjoy:
- A new sustainable, LEED Gold certified station building
- A new second platform and a relocated east platform, both with snow-melting systems, for convenient access to trains running in both directions
- A new passenger pick-up and drop-off area
- Two new pedestrian tunnels and four new elevators at the north and south ends of the station, improving station accessibility
- Better lighting, clearer signage and improved landscaping
- More bicycle storage
- Platform canopies and shelters
- A second track to support future two-way, all-day service
These enhancements improve accessibility while increasing comfort for a better customer experience as the station supports more frequent GO service.
