Everything You Need to Know About Washrooms on the GO

Here’s where to find washrooms on GO trains and in GO stations.

Looking to go on the GO? We’ve got you covered.

Where are the washrooms on GO trains?

On GO trains, there are toilets on every coach, either on the middle or lower level depending on how old the train is. Onboard washrooms on newer train cars have electric hand dryers as well as touchless faucets and soap dispensers.
Plus, in the fifth coach of every train, the accessibility coach, you can find an accessible washroom as well as the Customer Service Ambassador (CSA) on duty.

Which GO stations have public washrooms?

Need a washroom before or after your trip? Most GO train stations and GO bus terminals have a public washroom, which are typically open during station hours – you can confirm the available facilities and services at your destination ahead of time by looking at the “Find a Station of Stop” page on the GO Transit website.

And some good news: Our dedicated State of Good Repair (SOGR) team are hard at work fixing up and making important upgrades to older washrooms – in addition to completing other important station upgrades – to ensure that they comply with AODA standards and are more comfortable for everyone.

This program is ongoing, and has already brought upgrades to Appleby GO, Meadowvale GO, Dixie GO, Streetsville GO, Finch Bus Terminal, Malton GO and Scarborough GO stations.
