Forest Hill LRT Station sees important work at platform level
The latest Eglinton Crosstown LRT images take readers from the front door to deep below Toronto.

There’s a lot going on above, and below, the stations along the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit route.
New images show progress on a number of fronts – and even literally an entrance.
But let’s start at Forest Hill Station. With construction still taking place above, supports for the overhead catenary system – the electrical system that will help power the light rail vehicles – are being installed at Forest Hill Station’s platform level.
At Mount Pleasant Station, crews continue to build out the station box, with the upper concourse slab now poured below Eglinton Avenue.
And at Leaside, the main entrance to the station is taking shape, as precast tiles and staircases are now going in.
