How to get to Scotiabank Arena from Union Station

We’ll get you where you need to go, even after you get off the GO, UP Express or TTC.

Union Station has undergone significant change in recent years, and for frequent commuters and newcomers alike, finding your bearings can sometimes be a challenge.  

Couple that with the pressure of getting to a Toronto Raptors or Maple Leafs game or concert on time, you might find yourself in need of some guidance.  

We’re here to help! This handy guide will show you how to get to Scotiabank Arena from both GO concourses at Union Station. 

Plus, a few pointers on navigating to and from the TTC subway and UP Express too.

York Concourse to Scotiabank Arena

(3-5 minute walk)

Once your GO Train has pulled into Union Station and you’ve safely disembarked, head down into the York Concourse by taking one of the many stairwells or elevators.

Once you’ve gone down into the concourse, look for the McCafe, customer service booths and ticket vending machines.

To the left of that booth, you’ll see signage directing you towards Scotiabank Arena.

Go down the long hallway featuring entrances to the VIA Train platforms until you reach the end.

Turn right and head through the double doors down the staircase or accessibility ramp, where you’ll find another set of double doors.  

Head through and turn right to arrive at Scotiabank Arena and enjoy your event!

Bay Concourse to Scotiabank Arena

2-3 minute walk

Walk indoors from Union Station to Scotiabank Arena!

If you find yourself closer to the Bay Concourse, you’re already halfway there! Step off your GO Train and head down the nearest stairway into the concourse.

Look for the Tim Hortons towards the southern wall of the concourse and walk in that direction. 

Immediately to the right of that Tim’s, you’ll see a brick facade with doorways leading right to Scotiabank Arena. Alternatively, keep heading to your right, then up the ramp and through the double doors from the York Concourse.  

UP Express to Scotiabank Arena

3 minute walk to Great Hall

Once you disembark from your train, turn right and head towards Union Station. Turning left leads you to the Skywalk, which takes you to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the CN Tower, the Rogers Centre and more.

Keep going towards Union Station and you’ll find yourself in the Great Hall. You’ll recognize it from its ornate roof, high ceiling and lavish design details. From there, you’ll find staircases leading down into both the Bay and York Concourses and you can simply follow the above instructions. 

TTC to Scotiabank Arena

3-4 minute walk

Once you exit the subway, head into Union Station. You’ll find yourself in the Bay Concourse, from where you can follow the directions above.  

How to get to Union Station from Scotiabank Arena

Scotiabank to Union

When the festivities are over for the night, simply retrace your steps in reverse to get back to the concourse of your choice. If you’re catching a GO Bus, the arena also features an escalator leading to the Union Station bus terminal
