Metrolinx will be sharing Davenport Diamond Greenway design updates at an upcoming virtual open house on Nov. 24, 2022.

The Greenway will enhance the community experience with improved connections and includes:

• Fully accessible multi-use path for pedestrians and cyclists
• A sustainable approach to landscape and plantings
• Beautiful pollinating gardens
• Gathering spaces for the community

The Greenway design and public features will be integrated within the Davenport Diamond Guideway.

The Guideway project will enhance connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists, improve traffic flow and support increased GO rail service on the Barrie Line in the future.

Live Virtual Event – Nov. 24

Residents will see detailed design that has been based on community consultation in the past several years.

This event is an opportunity for the community to view the renderings, ask questions and get information on the next steps of the design process.

On Thursday, Nov. 24 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., individuals can join the live Metrolinx community meeting, where Metrolinx will provide an overview and design status of the Davenport Diamond Greenway project.
