We all know that feeling. You’re hustling to make the GO Train home at the end of the day, you hurry up the stairs and realize you aren’t sure what platform you’re on.
You look up and a big sense of relief washes over you as that handy departure screen shows you’re in the right place.
Well there’s good news for GO Transit customers as new departure information screens are being installed along the length of platforms 4 through 13 at Union Station.

The new screens display information that is specific to each platform rather than the general information that is provided on the screens in the concourses. Metrolinx says this ultimately provides more information to customers and improving people’s overall experience.
The new info screens, along with soon-to-be installed CCTV screens will replace the existing older-model screens currently at platform level.
