The future LRT stop at Yonge and Eglinton might be underground, but there’s a lot going on at the surface too.
The Eglinton Crosstown LRT will benefit the TTC and their customers in a lot of ways, including a new service building for Line 1 at Yonge and Eglinton (pictured below). When it’s done, the building will house the new tunnel ventilation system for the TTC subway line.

For anyone not familiar with the Crosstown project, Eglinton Station will be one of the busiest and most vital stations for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. It will feature six accessible station entrances that will allow people to seamlessly move between the Eglinton Subway TTC station and Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
