The Park Lawn business case - one step closer to new GO Station

Metrolinx says this is the next step towards bringing a new GO station to the Etobicoke community.

The future of transit in Etobicoke just got a little bit brighter.

A newly released document from Metrolinx shows there are significant benefits to building a new Park Lawn GO Station.

The Updated Initial Business Case (IBC), released today (June 11),  shows the new GO station would serve a daily ridership of nearly 5,000 people, connecting nearby Etobicoke residents to a rapid transit option that would get them downtown in less than 15 minutes.

Metrolinx says the Updated IBC is just the first step – the development of a new station is still subject to other necessary approvals and agreements.
