GO TRANSIT GRADE CROSSING DESIGN
The GO Transit Grade Crossing Design Standard describes the design practice and requirements for elements of the Grade Crossing Warning Systems (GCWS) deployed across Metrolinx owned territories. The application of any given element at a specific Grade Crossing will be decided on a case-by-case basis. This document does not define the minimum requirements that must be implemented at every Grade Crossing; it defines the minimum requirements for a given element of the GCWS that must be met at all locations where the element will be implemented.
