Metrolinx has partnered with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to organize a tree planting event at Fergy Brown Park.

As we continue to make progress on the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE), we’re committed to keeping communities green and thriving. We are happy to announce that Metrolinx ECWE Community Engagement team has partnered with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to organize a tree planting event at Fergy Brown Park on Wednesday, November 6th.

We are inviting the residents of the community to come to Fergy Brown Park between 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. to meet the team and help us plant some trees and shrubs in the area.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible as there are limited spots available. Register for the event here.

Things to know/ What to bring:

• Please dress appropriate for the weather (event will take place rain or shine)
• Work Gloves, please bring if you have, if not we will have sanitized equipment available for participants

All scheduled events will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme and/or unsafe weather conditions, TRCA staff will email you by 8:00 am the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
