Metrolinx has partnered with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and Kayanase Greenhouse from Six Nations of the Grand River to give away trees and shrubs to the community.
As we continue to make progress on construction, we’re committed to keeping communities green and thriving.
We are happy to announce our upcoming tree giveaway event at Toronto Public Library - Bendale branch on Sunday June 2nd, 2024. We are inviting the residents of the community to stop by, meet the team and pick up a free tree or shrub to take home.
We encourage you to arrive early as there is limited tree inventory available.
