On March 22, 2023, Metrolinx hosted a virtual open house to share updates on early works construction at Finch Station.

Topics covered included:

• Upgrades planned for the electrical system that powers Line 1 subway trains;
• Changes to the 'tail track' area beyond the Finch Station platform;
• Plans for traffic management around the station and in the area of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue;
• Photos of progress on work sites at Finch Station;
• How Metrolinx will work to reduce or prevent impacts like noise and vibrations from construction; and,
• Next steps for the project
