Let’s drill down with some of the most recent construction progress photos from the Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) project.
The 11 kilometres of new Toronto transit will feature 18 stops, including an underground interchange station at Finch West Station, where most of the pictures focus in, around and even under.
There’s ongoing excavation for the main entrance, located on the SE corner of the Keele St. and Finch Ave. W. intersection.
As well, another photo shows ongoing drilling on the northeast corner of the same intersection.
There’s also area road widening efforts underway, including here on the south side of Finch Ave. W. at Sentinel Rd. looking west.
And more on the north side of Finch Ave. W. between Driftwood and Topcliff. The view is of Finch, looking east.
So as we say goodbye to snow, there’s plenty of ground-level LRT developments to focus in on.
