How Metrolinx is improving accessibility for all commuters

Metrolinx is looking for input on accessibility during the annual meeting on Sept. 28.

Aug 1, 2023

Metrolinx places a high priority on ensuring that everyone has full access to transit services. There shouldn’t be any barriers to safe, convenient, and easy travel across the transit network.

Metrolinx takes public feedback into account in its accessibility planning and is continuously working to make improvements for transit users. Everyone can have a voice in how Metrolinx best attains its goal of being a transit service that serves everyone equally and efficiently.

Register for Metrolinx’s annual accessibility meeting – a webinar that will take place on Sept. 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This is an opportunity to provide feedback on how to improve accessibility of its services.

The transit agency will also provide updates on work happening across the GO network to improve accessibility as well as information on key initiatives planned for the coming year.
