There’s action on the Finch West LRT – from the dirt to the second storey of vehicle headquarters.

Those in charge of capturing the latest images of Toronto’s Finch West light rail transit (LRT) project, have just delivered a virtual holiday gift basket of impressive new photos.
There’s more than one angle captured, though construction updates of Finch West Station and Humber College Station – especially one remarkable bit of art involving a welder – caught our eye.
Also, take a look at the inside of the future control room on the second floor of the Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF), located at 50 York Gate Blvd., in Toronto. It looks like many offices, perhaps like one you work in if you’ve returned to the workplace, but it’s a reminder that not all the big progress takes place in the dirt and on the tracks. That soon enough, the office space will help control the home of Finch West light rail vehicles, as they are worked on and even cleaned inside the 9,693 m2 space.
