Crosstown’s surface section guideways fully constructed

The latest photos look at guideways, Fairbank Station & TTC underpinning at Cedarvale Station.

Here comes the rails.

And shelters.

And all the other system features needed for the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (LRT) route.

Among the latest images out of the Crosstown project, is a picture pointing out the surface section guideway has now been fully constructed from end to end. That means the entire stretch from Brentcliffe to Ionview is ready for installation of rail and other transit system elements.

It’s one image that reaches across the entire project.

As well, from Fairbank Station, crews have finished a concrete pour which completed the platform slab for the station. Now, work begins building upward towards the roof.

And at Cedarvale, on the east side of the station, TTC station underpinning support structures are being installed.
